Our Honduras orphanage trip

Our Honduras support letter.

 

Dear Supporters,

Since I completed my doctoral studies, it seemed good to the Holy Spirit, Svetlana, and I to support our local church with short term mission trips. Since I completed my dissertation on orphans, this trip makes sense.

New Life Church is to going to Honduras on a mission trip from July 24-31, 2015. The objective of the trip is to partner with Jimmy Hughes ministry in Honduras. They have quite an effective orphanage, rehabilitation center, and prison ministry.

We need 20 prayer partners to stand with us and believe God for the success of this mission trip. Prayer support is essential for us and all the lives that will be impacted in Honduras.

Another way you can be involved is to help provide financial support. We only need to raise $4,500 for this exciting mission trip. We will need to raise $2,800 by June 15, 2015 in order to pay for airline tickets and the other $1,700 by 31 July, 2015.

If you are able to help financially, the preferred method is to make your donation using the secure online giving system on the church website.  This method will ensure that your donation is processed accurately, efficiently, and will help reduce administrative costs for the church.  You will also be able to print a tax-deductible receipt and giving statement for use in preparing your tax return.  To give online:

4. Login.  If you do not have an account, select Sign Up! And follow the instructions

5. Select Give Now

6. Use the first drop down on box (on the left) to select the Honduras III Missions - Free the Oppressed

7. Use the second drop down box (on the right) to select Lewis, Dennis and Svetlana

8. Complete the payment amount and select and provide your payment information

9. Select continue and then submit

If we are successful in raising my financial goal, any excess funds will be applied to either the needs directly related to the ministry of this trip or to fund additional mission needs within New Life Global Ministries.
