Pasha - success

As I wrote yesterday about how our best efforts may not produce the results we want, it is also good to hear of the orphans who become successful leaders. This story is about Pasha. he assisted our teams for several trips to Russia that I participated in and many others. I was pleased to see he is helping out teams going to Russia. I included a photo from one of his close mentors, Tom. Pasha told me he was living with his father and two brothers. Not sure what happened to his mother, but his father was an alcoholic. A Russian official came to the house and asked the father if he wanted to keep the children or send them to an orphanage. Pasha said to himself that he did not want to be sent away, but could not verbally say it. he was the oldest and made it through the orphanage. he takes care of his brothers. I met one, Sasha, who has a medical condition and needs help. He faithfully helps with American teams going over to Russia. Pasha has a quiet, strong spirit and is a leader for the orphans.
