On the emotional side, the author's study shows Russian men are emotional. The investigation had both male and female perceptions. However, in the workplace they are expected to keep their emotions in check. A 'real" man must be able to expressive himself in order to engage with others. As far as I can tell, Il’inykh's interpretation seems the same as in the American workplace.
